Her Brother's Keeper by Beth Wiseman ~ Review

Her Brother's Keeper (Amish Secrets, #1)Lucie's Review:

Charlotte is a woman out for revenge, and she wants answers to why her brother Ethan did what he did. So she dons Amish clothing, and pretends to a distant cousin of the Kings, named Mary, determined to get revenge on the Amish for the death of her brother.

Will revenge bring the peace that Charlotte seeks?

Lena Kin welcomes Mary Charlotte with open arms, and doesn't find fault with her for not being very Amish. Lena is hoping that Mary Charlotte will be able to help her daughter Hannah get back into life after the loss of her fiance.

I really liked Ryan, he was Ethan's best friend, and he is immediately suspicious of Mary Charlotte and figures out what she is up to. But he reaches out to her and encourages her to listen to the Kings and to consider God's role in her life.

This is a well written book, easy to read, with a very interesting plot. It contains a lot of good dialog, and explores many family relations, while also tackling some tough questions. A great read about Charlotte as she learns the secrets of her brother's past, and finds friends, and a new intriguing faith.
