The Hero's Sweetheart by Cheryl Wyatt ~ Review

The Hero's Sweetheart
Lucie's Review:

Olivia works at Sully's diner, and he is a good friend and father-like figure in her life. He encourages her to become an EMT, and not to let the fear of her dyslexia getting in the way stop her.

When Sully has a stroke, Olivia is there to help him,and after accompanying him to Eagle Point Trauma Center, she contacts his son, Jack.

Jack is the pride of Sully's life, and serving with the armed forces overseas. So she keep him posted, until he can get home. Jack wants to keep Sully's open, but he starts making a lot of rules that make it difficult for Olivia, because in the past Sully was always considerate of her study time. But Jack is suspicious because money is missing and the bank is about to forclose.

Will Jack and Olivia be able to trust each other to keep Sully's up and running?

I really liked Sully from the beginning, he sees Olivia as she is, and supports her dreams. I liked how when he woke up he immediately started playing matchmaker. I loved how he is so proud of his son, too.

Plus, there was an ongoing Ford or Chevy debate, which kept me laughing.

Overall, a good read, and I liked Sully alot. Olivia and Jack spent a lot of time at odds with each other so I guess I was a bit unsure at the end if they were really they ideal couple.
