Love on a Deadline by Kathryn Springer ~ Review

Love on a Deadline: An August Wedding Story (A Year of Weddings Novella 2, #9)Lucie's Review:

Engaging, fast-paced, and funny, this short and sweet tale is sure to capture your heart!

Mackenzie Davis grew up around all thing football, because her father was the football coach, but highschool was horrible for her because he next door neighbor, Hollis Channing, picked on her a lot during those years.

Now she's grown up, and returned home to take care of her ailing father, she also works for the local weekly paper. But when her boss tells her that she will be covering the biggest wedding of the summer, that of Hollis Channing and Connor Blake.

Ethan Channing is studying to be a doctor, but he is returning home for his sister's wedding, and he has only 2 weeks to get everything ready for the big day. But he doesn't know the first thing about throwing together a wedding in such a short amount of time, will Mackenzie be willing to give him a hand?

This was a really fun book to read, from the start I really liked Mackenzie and was cheering for her, and I liked how she is willing to help others and has grown a lot form the girl she used to be. I even liked the love story behind Hollis and Connor's wedding and why they chose to get married the way that they are. Connor is a super nice guy.

Overall, a really fantastic, short and sweet read. Definitely one to recommend :)
